Installation and Configuration Guide

The RflySim toolchain supports a green, fully offline, one-click fully automatic installation process that never modifies system files or the registry. Whether you are deploying for the first time or upgrading to a new version, all functionalities of the entire ecosystem are self-contained within a dedicated, independent folder!

🚀 Ultra-Fast One-Click Installation

To accommodate diverse development scenarios (e.g., focusing on low-level flight controller design vs. high-level vision/AI applications), we have prepared an exceptionally streamlined new installation process:

Strong Recommendation: Allow Security Exceptions Before Installation

Since the underlying compiler components include certain C/C++ binary dependency libraries, they may be mistakenly intercepted by third-party security software, resulting in incomplete files: Please temporarily disable or uninstall third-party antivirus software such as 360 Security Guard, Lenovo PC Manager, and Huorong, and temporarily disable Real-time Protection in Windows Security Center.

Core Installation in 3 Steps

  1. Acquire and Mount the Package: Download the latest RflySimToolchain-xxxx.iso image file. In Windows, simply double-click to mount it, and the virtual CD-ROM directory will open automatically.
  2. Configure System-Level Environment Plugins (Optional): If you plan to use advanced hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SITL) features later (and avoid various port-related anomalies), it is strongly recommended to first run 0.UbuntuWSL/EnableWSL.bat in the directory and then restart your computer to apply the configuration.
  3. Select the Appropriate Installation Entry Based on Your Development Needs:
    • 💡 Full Mode (Includes MATLAB — Full Functionality!): Open MATLAB (recommended version ≥ 2022b), navigate in the left-side directory tree to the mounted drive, right-click OnekeyScript.p, and select Run.
    • 💡 Fast Mode (No MATLAB — Python/ROS Vision & High-Level Development Only): If you do not need to write/generate any Simulink-based low-level flight controller logic and do not have MATLAB installed, simply double-click OnekeyScript.exe in the directory.

✔ On the first run, the fully automated console window will appear. Please keep the default configuration, select Yes for all prompts, and click OK. The system will then silently extract files and automatically configure the environment for approximately 30 minutes. Feel free to step away for a coffee break until it completes!
